DP WORLD DISRUPTIONS TO CONTINUE

To Our Valued Clients,

Further to our last update on the dispute effecting DP World terminals across the country, we have rec'd confirmation Protected Industrial Action (PIA) will extend for at least another week.

The next round of PIA will kick in on Monday January 22, with 2-hour work bans across all work shifts.

This is a further blow to congestion & disruption to normal operations.

 

The direct & indirect costs to end users are clear.

- Delays to arrival of cargo & unavailability of product

- Wasted container free days (awaiting 1st day of wharf availability)

- Additional admin costs for carriers to book, rebook container slots & continually vessel changes

 

For individual shipment updates, our time are on call to assist at all times
