General Rate Increase (GRI)
United States West Coast to Australia and New Zealand
To ensure the continued provision of high quality services and sufficient capacity to cater for our customer requirements, Maersk Line is implementing the next phase of our recovery program with effect from 6th December 2014.
Freight rates for all dry and reefer cargo moving from United States West Coast to Australia and New Zealand will increase by USD 150 per TEU and USD 300 per FFE.
This rate increase is a reflection of the current unsustainable rate levels that will not allow shipping lines to continue offering their current service portfolio.
