Port congestion surcharge arises again

“Port congestion surcharge was suspended,” or so we thought. Yesterday, carriers started releasing information that they will be enforcing a port congestion surcharge.

As congestion has worsened with labor unrest issues in the U.S. member lines of the TSA have started rolling out congestion surcharges. Below we have four and will continue to send updates as more carriers release their port congestion surcharge information.
