Dear valued customers,
Brisbane
Please be advised that the Bureau of Meteorology issued a severe weather warning for heavy rainfall and damaging winds earlier today in Queensland.
The worst of the weather event is expected to occur this afternoon and also all public schools have been closed tomorrow (Friday).
DP World Brisbane Terminal will cease vessel and road operations at 3pm today and resume at 11pm tonight as the region is being battered by a tropical low — the remains of cyclone Debbie.
Sydney
A severe weather warning is in place for Sydney, also, as the deepening low pressure system from Queensland is expected to collide with a cold front from the south west. Strong winds are forecast in the Sydney region from 1pm today.
There has been no impact to operations in Sydney as yet.
We will monitor the situation and will advise if operations are likely to be affected.
Keeping you updated,
BRi Customer service department
